SpecSheet

SpecSheet is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that standardizes and compares physical commodity offers—especially the messy, real-world ones like grains, oils, metals concentrates, and recycled materials. Users upload PDFs/emails/WhatsApp-export text of offers and contracts; the app extracts key terms (grade, moisture, impurities, origin, incoterms, delivery window, penalties, assay methods) and converts them into a normalized “apples-to-apples” sheet. It then calculates an effective price range after typical adjustments (freight, shrink, quality penalties, financing days) and flags hidden gotchas (ambiguous assay basis, missing tolerance bands, unrealistic delivery windows). This isn’t a trading terminal; it’s a deal hygiene tool that helps buyers/sellers avoid bad paper and compare offers faster. Expect imperfect extraction at first—human review remains necessary—but it can still cut hours per deal.
