SpecSieve
SpecSieve is a web app (with optional Slack/Jira integrations) that audits technical documents for ambiguity, missing acceptance criteria, and inconsistent terminology. You paste a PRD, API doc, ticket, or RFC, and it highlights risky phrases (“fast”, “should”, “etc.”), undefined terms, conflicting requirements, and untestable statements. It then proposes concrete rewrites and generates acceptance criteria in a consistent template (Given/When/Then or checklist), plus a glossary of defined terms and a “questions to resolve” list for stakeholders. It’s an AI app with deterministic guardrails: a rules engine enforces style constraints and required fields, while the AI suggests rewrites and examples. Export cleaned specs back to Jira/Confluence/Notion and track “spec quality” over time per team. The goal isn’t prettier writing—it’s fewer rework cycles caused by vague requirements.
