SpecSlice

SpecSlice is a mobile + web app that helps shoppers and sales teams quickly narrow down the right car type/segment (compact SUV, midsize sedan, hot hatch, etc.) based on real constraints: garage size, child seats, commute, parking, towing, winter needs, and budget. Instead of generic “best SUV” lists, it turns requirements into a short list of segments and a few representative models, with clear trade-offs (cargo vs. MPG, ground clearance vs. handling, insurance cost bands). It also includes a “segment sanity check” that flags when a user is shopping the wrong category (e.g., needs 3 car seats but is browsing subcompact crossovers). The AI layer summarizes pros/cons from trusted sources and user priorities, but the core logic is rules + data so it stays explainable and consistent.
