SpecSlicer

SpecSlicer is a web app (with a lightweight Slack integration) that converts vague product tickets, meeting notes, and PRDs into a structured engineering-ready task breakdown. It ingests text from Jira/Linear issues, Google Docs, or pasted notes, then produces: clarified requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, dependencies, and a suggested implementation plan. It also flags missing info (e.g., undefined metrics, ambiguous states, unowned decisions) and generates a short list of questions to ask the PM or designer. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI drafts the breakdown, but the workflow is built around review, versioning, and team sign-off so it doesn’t become “AI hallucination theater.” The goal is not to replace PMs; it’s to reduce the expensive back-and-forth that burns sprint time and creates rework. It’s realistic because teams already pay heavily for miscommunication; this targets that waste directly.
