SpecSnap

SpecSnap is a web + desktop app that converts scattered brand assets (PDF guidelines, Figma links, slide decks, folders of logos) into a single, enforceable “design spec layer” teams can actually use. It auto-extracts colors, type scales, spacing rules, logo clearspace, and component tokens, then publishes them as a living style guide and exportable design tokens. Designers get a lightweight panel that checks a frame/artboard for violations (wrong hex, font mismatch, inconsistent button radius) and suggests fixes. Developers get tokens and a changelog so handoff stops breaking. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used for parsing documents, mapping inconsistencies, and proposing token structures, while deterministic rules handle validation. It’s not a full design tool; it’s a guardrail that sits on top of existing workflows.
