SpecSnap

SpecSnap is a web app (with a lightweight desktop companion) that converts low-fidelity wireframes into developer-ready product specs. Upload screenshots or paste a Figma link, then tag key UI regions (or let AI detect them) to generate: user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, responsive behavior notes, and a component inventory. It also produces a “questions to resolve” list to expose ambiguity before engineering starts. The goal isn’t to replace design tools; it’s to stop the endless Slack threads and misinterpretations that happen between wireframes and build. Output can be exported to Jira/Linear tickets and a single spec doc (Markdown/Confluence). Realistically, it wins only if it saves teams time every week and reduces rework—otherwise it becomes yet another doc tool people ignore.
