SpecSnap is a web + mobile AI app for interior designers and small studios who waste hours turning site photos into client-ready documentation. You upload room photos and a quick voice note, then the app generates a structured spec sheet: finishes, furniture categories, dimensions to verify, install notes, and a shopping list with placeholders. It doesn’t pretend to be a full CAD/BIM tool; it’s a documentation accelerator that plugs into how designers actually work between site visits and presentations. The output exports to Google Docs/PDF and a clean client-facing “Selections” page. The app also tracks revisions (“v3: swapped pendant, changed paint sheen”) so you can stop losing decisions across email threads. The realistic value is saving admin time and reducing costly miscommunication, not magically designing a perfect room from a photo.
