SpecSnap
SpecSnap is a web app (with a lightweight mobile capture companion) that converts real-world prototyping chaos into a single, consistent “build packet.” Users snap photos of sketches/whiteboards, paste lab notes, and upload BOM spreadsheets. The app extracts requirements, dimensions, assumptions, and open questions, then outputs a structured spec: parts list, test plan, risk log, and revision history. It also generates a clean one-page summary for stakeholders and a task list that can sync to Jira/Linear. This is an AI-assisted documentation and traceability tool, not a CAD replacement. The value is reducing rework and miscommunication between builders, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders. It’s realistic because it focuses on text/structure outputs and workflow integration rather than perfect geometric reconstruction from images.
