Homeowners upload PDFs/photos of contractor bids; the app extracts line items, flags missing details (R-values, model numbers, warranty terms, commissioning steps), and generates a clean comparison table plus a “what’s not included” checklist. It also produces a shareable spec sheet homeowners can send back to contractors to re-quote consistently. This is not a magic ‘find the best contractor’ app—it's a practical tool to reduce confusion, prevent scope gaps, and stop people from choosing the cheapest bid that omits critical work. Monetization: per-project fee for homeowners and a subscription for retrofit contractors who want to issue standardized, clearer bids.
