You take a photo of a store placard, box, or online spec sheet, and the app extracts key details (panel type, refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 ports, HDR formats, peak brightness claims, input lag, Wi‑Fi standards). It then flags marketing traps (fake “120 motion rate,” missing Dolby Vision, limited HDMI bandwidth, edge-lit pitfalls) and scores the setup for your actual use: PS5/Xbox, sports, bright room, movies, or budget streaming. It also checks compatibility with your existing gear (soundbar, AVR, console) and suggests the minimum cables/settings needed to get the advertised features. The app monetizes via affiliate links and a paid “deal confidence” view that tracks price history and return-risk notes.
