SpecSync

SpecSync is a web + mobile industrial software app that keeps manufacturing work instructions, specs, and SOPs version-correct at the point of use. It connects to common PLM/ERP document sources (or a simple built-in repository) and pushes the right revision to the right workstation, line, or product variant via QR/NFC scans. Supervisors can publish controlled updates with approvals, while operators get a clean, offline-capable viewer with mandatory acknowledgment and quick issue reporting (missing torque value, unclear photo, wrong language). The app logs who viewed what, when, and on which job, creating an audit trail for ISO/IATF/AS9100 without the clipboard theater. This is not glamorous: the value is preventing scrap, rework, and quality escapes caused by stale PDFs and tribal knowledge. It’s designed for noisy, gloved environments and low-training adoption.
