SpendMirror

SpendMirror is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that turns spending into a behavior audit, not a budget. Connect your bank, then the app auto-tags transactions into “emotional drivers” (stress relief, convenience tax, social pressure, boredom, reward seeking) and shows patterns like time-of-day splurges, post-meeting spending, or weekend “treat loops.” You get short, specific interventions: a 60-second reframe prompt before your usual trigger window, a friction toggle (cooldown, spending cap, or delayed checkout), and a weekly “money narrative” recap that links purchases to mood and context. It’s not therapy and it won’t magically make you rich; it’s a mirror that makes your habits obvious and harder to rationalize. The goal is fewer regret purchases and more intentional spending without obsessing over spreadsheets.
