SpendSentry

SpendSentry is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that continuously monitors enterprise purchasing signals—expense cards, POs, invoices, and SaaS renewals—to flag policy violations and budget drift in near real time. Instead of waiting for month-end close to discover overruns, it routes exceptions to the right approver with context: vendor history, contract terms, budget owner, and similar past decisions. It also maintains a lightweight “controls evidence trail” for audits (who approved what, when, and why) without forcing teams into a heavy GRC suite. This is not a magical autopilot: it’s a pragmatic layer that sits on top of existing ERPs/AP tools and focuses on catching the 20% of transactions that cause 80% of headaches—duplicate invoices, out-of-policy spend, renewal surprises, and miscoded expenses. The goal is fewer surprises, faster approvals, and cleaner books.
