SpendTripwre is a mobile + web app that detects lifestyle inflation by comparing your spending to your own historical baselines, not generic budgets. Connect your bank/credit cards, then the app builds a “Lifestyle Creep Index” across categories like dining, rideshare, subscriptions, and shopping. When your baseline shifts (e.g., $300/month becomes $550/month for takeout), it flags the change, shows what triggered it (new merchant, frequency increase, price increases), and asks you to pick one of three actions: accept it, cap it, or replace it. The app focuses on decisions, not shame: it suggests a single concrete swap (e.g., pause one subscription, set a weekly dining cap) and tracks whether the creep reverses. It also includes a “raise-proof plan” that allocates future income increases automatically to goals before spending expands.
