SPFDrift

SPFDrift is a web app that continuously monitors your domains’ SPF records and the third-party senders they reference, then alerts you when something changes that can break authentication. It tracks DNS lookups count, include-chain depth, deprecated mechanisms, and “silent” vendor changes (like a marketing platform adding new includes) that push you over the 10-lookup limit. The app keeps a history of every SPF version, diffs changes, and provides a safe, copy-paste “proposed SPF” with rollback. It also maps which business systems (CRM, helpdesk, billing) rely on which SPF includes so you can assess blast radius before edits. This is not glamorous: it’s a reliability tool for teams tired of mysterious deliverability drops and finger-pointing between IT and marketing.
