SPFGuard

SPFGuard is a web app (with optional Slack alerts) that continuously monitors your domains’ SPF records and the third-party senders you rely on. It detects common failure modes: exceeding the 10-DNS-lookup limit, include-chain changes by vendors, accidental record overwrites, and misaligned SPF vs. actual sending IPs. It runs scheduled DNS resolution from multiple regions, simulates full SPF evaluation (including redirects/includes), and produces a plain-English “will this pass?” verdict per sending source. When risk spikes, it alerts you with the exact cause and a recommended fix, including safe SPF flattening suggestions and change diffs. This is a traditional app with light AI assistance: AI is used to explain issues and draft remediation steps, but the core logic is deterministic. It’s built for teams who can’t afford silent deliverability degradation.
