SpillwayOps

SpillwayOps is a web + mobile app for hydro plant operators to capture, validate, and export operational and environmental compliance records without spreadsheet chaos. It focuses on the unglamorous but constant work: spill events, gate changes, ramping rates, minimum flows, fish passage notes, and incident reports. Operators can enter data fast on a phone (offline capable), attach photos, and sync when back online. The system auto-checks entries against permit rules (e.g., max ramp rate, seasonal flow constraints) and flags potential violations before they become reportable events. It generates audit-ready monthly/quarterly reports in the formats regulators and internal compliance teams actually request. This is not a SCADA replacement; it sits next to existing systems and bridges the gap between machine data, human actions, and required documentation. The goal is fewer compliance surprises and less time wasted assembling evidence after the fact.
