SpinDispatch

SpinDispatch is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps operators of flywheel energy storage schedule charge/discharge to hit revenue targets and avoid penalties. It ingests site telemetry (power, SoC, temperature, vibration), utility tariffs, and market signals (frequency regulation/ancillary service prices where available). The app produces a dispatch plan (day-ahead and intraday) and a simple “do this now” control queue that can be executed via existing SCADA/EMS or a lightweight API gateway. It also tracks performance against commitments, flags when the flywheel can’t safely deliver due to thermal or mechanical constraints, and generates settlement-ready reports. This is not a magic autopilot: it’s a pragmatic decision-support tool that reduces operator guesswork, improves compliance, and makes flywheels easier to monetize without building a full custom EMS.
