SplitRoute

SplitRoute is a desktop + mobile VPN tunneling controller focused on one job: reliable split-tunneling by app, domain, and network condition. Most VPN clients claim split tunneling, but it breaks under updates, DNS changes, IPv6 leaks, or when apps use embedded browsers and CDNs. SplitRoute installs a lightweight local agent that enforces policy at the OS firewall and DNS layer, then verifies it continuously with active probes. Users pick rules like “Work apps through VPN, streaming direct” or “Only route these domains via VPN,” and the app shows a live, auditable map of what is going where. It includes a “leak alarm” that flags when traffic escapes the intended tunnel and offers one-click fixes. It works with existing WireGuard/OpenVPN configs rather than selling yet another VPN subscription.
