SplitSignal is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that helps couples prevent financial fights by turning shared spending and obligations into clear, low-drama agreements. Instead of just tracking expenses, it focuses on “rules”: who pays what, caps for discretionary categories, savings targets, and what counts as joint vs. personal. It connects to bank accounts, categorizes transactions, and flags when a rule is drifting (e.g., dining out exceeds the agreed cap, one partner is covering more than planned, bills are at risk). The AI layer drafts neutral, non-accusatory summaries and suggested adjustments (“Looks like groceries rose 18%—want to raise the cap or change stores?”). It also includes a monthly “money meeting” agenda and a one-tap settlement plan. The goal is less bookkeeping and fewer surprise resentments.
