SplitTunnel is a desktop + mobile VPN client focused on one painful reality: most “split tunneling” breaks in real life when apps update, IPs change, or SaaS endpoints move. The app lets admins define routing by application identity (process/package) and verified domain patterns, then continuously validates that traffic is going where policy says. It includes a lightweight policy engine, a visual “where did my traffic go?” inspector, and guardrails that fail closed for sensitive apps (e.g., finance, admin consoles) while allowing low-risk traffic to go direct. It’s built for small IT teams who don’t want a full SASE rollout but still need predictable, auditable routing. This is not a consumer privacy VPN; it’s an enterprise practicality tool that reduces helpdesk tickets and accidental data exposure caused by misrouted traffic.
