SpoilerShield is a mobile app + browser extension that blocks spoilers across social feeds, news, YouTube titles/comments, and group chats. Users pick what they’re watching (shows, movies, games, sports events) and set a “spoiler window” (e.g., 7 days after release or until you mark as watched). The app filters text and images in real time, blurring risky content and letting users tap to reveal. It also offers “safe summaries” that recap earlier episodes/seasons without leaking future plot points. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional controls and integrations, with AI classification to detect spoiler-like phrasing, character names, screenshots, and meme formats. Monetization is freemium: basic keyword blocking free, premium for cross-platform filtering, image/video title scanning, and shared family settings.
