SpotSwap is a mobile + web app that lets residents and small businesses legally sublet unused parking time in private driveways, reserved spaces, and small lots. Hosts list availability windows, access instructions, and rules; drivers book by the hour/day with transparent pricing and cancellation terms. The app focuses on verification and accountability: identity checks, address validation, photo check-in/out, and a simple damage/incident workflow. It also supports recurring bookings for commuters and shift workers. This is not a magic “find any spot” map—coverage will be patchy at first and it won’t beat city garages everywhere. The value is in turning underused private spaces into predictable inventory in neighborhoods where street parking is a daily headache. Monetization is a take-rate per booking plus optional host tools (auto-pricing, calendar sync, and payout scheduling).
