SpreadGuard

SpreadGuard is a web app (with optional desktop agent) for small-to-mid market makers and liquidity providers who don’t have a quant team. It ingests your fills, quotes, and order book snapshots, then flags when you’re being adversely selected (getting hit right before price moves) and recommends concrete quoting changes: widen/tighten by venue, reduce size, add latency buffers, or pause specific symbols during news spikes. It also monitors inventory drift and correlates PnL drawdowns with microstructure signals (trade-throughs, sweep patterns, sudden imbalance). This is an AI-assisted analytics app, but it’s not “autonomous trading”: it produces explainable alerts and parameter suggestions you can apply in your existing quoting engine. The goal is to reduce silent losses from toxic flow and bad venue selection—problems that kill smaller shops quietly.
