SpreadScout

SpreadScout is a web app (with optional desktop wrapper) for power and gas traders who waste hours stitching together ISO/RTO data, weather, outages, and forward curves just to spot a few actionable spreads. It ingests public market fundamentals (load, generation mix, congestion, outages), overlays weather and calendar effects, and lets users define “watchlists” of nodes/hubs and spread structures (DA/RT, hub-to-node, peak/off-peak, spark spreads). The AI layer summarizes what changed since yesterday, flags statistically unusual moves, and suggests the top 5 spreads worth a human look—without pretending to be an autopilot trader. It’s built for speed: one screen to see drivers, one click to export to Excel, and audit-friendly notes for compliance. Realistically, it won’t replace ETRM or quant stacks; it’s a focused decision-support tool.
