StakeSprint

StakeSprint is a mobile + web procrastination tool that turns “I’ll do it later” into a financial commitment you can’t ignore. You create a task, set a start time (not a due date), and stake a small amount of money. If you don’t begin within a short grace window, the stake is automatically donated to a cause you dislike (or a neutral pool if you prefer). To prevent cheating, the app verifies “starting” via lightweight proof: opening a specified document/app, beginning a timer while screen-recording, or submitting a quick photo of your workspace. It focuses on one thing: getting you to start, not managing your entire life. It includes short “anti-avoidance” prompts and a 10-minute starter plan when you’re stuck. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI only helps generate starter steps and friction-reducing plans, not fake productivity insights.
