StakeSprint
StakeSprint is a mobile + web accountability app that converts procrastination into a clear financial consequence. You create a “sprint” (one task, one deadline, one proof requirement), stake a small amount of money, and pick an accountability referee (friend) or a paid verifier from the platform. If you submit proof on time and it’s approved, you get your stake back (optionally with a small reward). If you miss the deadline or fail verification, you lose the stake to a chosen outcome: a disliked charity, your referee, or a community pool. The app focuses on short, winnable commitments (15–120 minutes) instead of vague goals. It’s not therapy and it won’t fix deep executive dysfunction, but it will reliably push action for people who can do the work and just keep delaying it.
