StallScout is a mobile + web app that helps people find street food vendors that are actually open right now, with accurate hours, locations, and menu highlights. StallScout solves this with lightweight “proof-of-open” check-ins: users can confirm a stall is open by posting a quick timestamped photo/receipt, earning points and perks. Vendors can claim a profile to post today’s location, limited items, and sell-out status, but the app doesn’t rely on vendor participation to stay useful. It’s built for travelers and locals who want great street food without wasting time walking to closed stalls. Monetization is realistic: vendor subscriptions for “featured nearby” placement, plus city guides and affiliate partnerships for food tours.
