StallScout
StallScout predicts whether a specific EV charging stall will work when you arrive, not just whether a station exists. It combines crowd-sourced “plug-in outcome” check-ins (success/fail, error codes, power achieved), passive telemetry from optional OBD-II/Bluetooth adapters, and real-time context signals (temperature, time-of-day congestion, recent maintenance reports). Instead of showing optimistic availability, it outputs a simple reliability score per stall and a confidence level, plus a plan B route with the next-best reliable alternatives. The app focuses on reducing wasted time: failed sessions, broken connectors, derated power, and phantom availability. It supports major networks but stays network-agnostic, because the pain is cross-network. Realistically, growth depends on users contributing data; without density, it’s just another map. The MVP should target a few metro corridors to reach useful coverage quickly.
