StepScribe
StepScribe is a web + mobile app that lets students and tutors capture handwritten or typed math solutions and converts them into a clean, step-by-step writeup with error flags. Users snap a photo of notebook work or paste LaTeX, then the app reconstructs the solution flow, highlights likely algebra slips, missing assumptions, and invalid transformations, and suggests the minimal correction to get back on track. It’s not a “do my homework” button: it focuses on diagnosing where the reasoning broke, and requires the user to confirm each step before moving on. Teachers can create problem sets and rubrics, then review a student’s step history (including revisions) to grade process, not just the final answer. It supports common high-school through early college topics (algebra, trig, calculus, linear algebra) with export to PDF/LaTeX for submission.
