StickScout

StickScout is a mobile + web app for field hockey teams to turn raw game video into usable coaching clips fast. Record from the sideline (or import from a camera), then auto-detect possessions and key events using on-device + cloud AI. Coaches can quickly correct the timeline, tag players, and generate a shareable highlight reel or a “teaching tape” playlist for next practice. Players get a simple feed of their clips with coach notes and a few basic stats (touches, entries, turnovers) without pretending to be pro-level analytics. The app focuses on speed and reliability over fancy dashboards: if it takes more than 10 minutes after the match, most teams won’t use it. Monetization is a team subscription with optional add-ons for extra storage and multi-angle syncing.
