StockoutScout is a mobile + web app that tracks hard-to-find, frequently discounted items (electronics, sneakers, baby formula, gaming gear) and alerts users when they’re back in stock at a price that’s actually good—not just “on sale.” Users paste a product URL or search within the app, set a target price, and choose acceptable sellers (e.g., only first-party retailers). The app monitors stock status and price history, flags suspicious “fake discounts,” and sends instant push notifications when conditions match. It also offers a lightweight “deal confidence” score based on historical pricing, shipping cost, and return policy signals. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional tracking and alerts, with AI used to normalize messy product listings and detect misleading promos. Monetization is realistic: affiliate links where allowed plus a small premium tier for faster alerts and more tracked items.
