StockSense

StockSense is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps small-to-mid aquaculture farms estimate biomass, growth rate, and harvest readiness with fewer manual samplings. Farmers log stocking events, feed inputs, mortalities, and periodic sample weights; the app then forecasts biomass and harvest windows, flagging when numbers look inconsistent (e.g., feed suggests growth but samples don’t). The AI component is a lightweight forecasting model that adapts to each farm’s historical performance and local temperature/salinity patterns, producing confidence ranges rather than fake precision. It also generates simple “what changed?” explanations so managers can act (adjust feeding, grading, partial harvest planning). This is not a lab-grade system; it’s a practical planning tool to reduce costly surprises in inventory, sales commitments, and feed purchasing. Integrations can be added later for sensors and accounting exports.
