StockSentry

StockSentry is a mobile + web app for small retailers and community pharmacies to anticipate and manage resource scarcity at the product level (water, fuel canisters, baby formula, OTC meds, batteries, staples). It connects to POS/inventory systems (or simple CSV uploads) and combines local demand signals (sales velocity, seasonality, nearby events) with external disruption indicators (weather alerts, port/rail delays, regional outage reports) to forecast stockout risk and recommend reorder quantities and substitute SKUs. The app also supports a lightweight “fair allocation” mode during true shortages: per-customer limits, waitlists, and transparent signage templates to reduce conflict at checkout. This is not a magic supply-chain solver—it's a practical early-warning and triage tool for operators who currently react too late. Pricing would be subscription per location with optional integrations.
