StoneProof

StoneProof is a mobile + web app (AI + traditional) that helps shoppers and small resellers reduce the risk of buying fake or misrepresented jewelry and watches online. Users upload listing photos, seller screenshots, and any provided certificates/serials. The app runs AI-based visual checks for common red flags (inconsistent hallmarks, mismatched fonts, suspicious clasp/setting geometry, over-sharpened images, stock-photo reuse) and cross-checks serial/cert formats against known patterns. It outputs a plain-English risk score, a checklist of what to ask the seller, and recommended next steps (request specific angles, timegrapher photo for watches, UV/loop shots, receipt provenance). It also stores a “deal dossier” so users can compare multiple listings and keep evidence if a dispute occurs. This will not magically authenticate everything; it’s a practical fraud-reduction tool for real-world shopping.
