StoneSizer

StoneSizer is a web + mobile app for bench jewelers and CAD designers that eliminates the most common (and expensive) mistake: stones that don’t match the seat, prongs, or tolerances. Users enter stone type, shape, nominal size, and measured dimensions (or scan a parcel label), then select a setting style and metal. The app outputs practical bench-ready targets: seat diameter/depth, bearing angle guidance, prong length allowances, and tolerance ranges based on stone type and setting risk. It also generates a one-page “bench card” PDF with measurements, notes, and a checklist to reduce miscommunication between sales, CAD, and the bench. This is not glamorous; it’s a workflow tool that saves time, avoids remakes, and reduces customer delays. Optional AI helps detect inconsistent inputs and suggests safer tolerances, but the core value works without AI.
