The app produces a structured “verification packet” that flags red risks (likely plated, mismatched hallmarks, altered stones, suspicious settings), suggests what tests are worth paying for (XRF, refractive index, diamond tester), and generates a clean report for insurers, consignment shops, or family records. It also supports booking a remote session with a vetted jeweler/gemologist for a paid second opinion, plus optional in-person lab confirmation via partner stores. This is not a magical ‘identify any gem from a photo’ tool; it’s a decision-support workflow that prevents expensive mistakes and creates standardized documentation that most estate pieces lack.
