StoneVerify is a mobile + web app that helps engagement-ring shoppers validate a ring or loose stone listing using the certificate number, seller details, and listing photos. It pulls lab report data (GIA/IGI where available), flags mismatches (carat, measurements, inscription, cut grades), and estimates a realistic price range based on comparable stones and current market spreads. Users can upload screenshots from marketplaces or retailer pages, then get a clear “green/yellow/red” risk summary with specific reasons (e.g., recycled photos, inconsistent proportions, suspiciously low price). It also generates a checklist of questions to ask the seller and a short negotiation script. This is not magic: it won’t guarantee authenticity without physical inspection, but it will catch a lot of common scams and overpriced deals before money changes hands.
