StopMarshal

StopMarshal is a mobile + web operations app for Bus Rapid Transit agencies to reduce station dwell time and bunching by managing what actually happens at stops. It gives supervisors and station staff a live view of incoming buses, crowding risk, and dwell-time targets per station. Staff can log causes of delay (fare disputes, wheelchair boarding, door issues, platform crowding) in two taps, attach photos, and trigger quick interventions (dispatch extra staff, open all doors, hold/skip rules, queue control). A lightweight analytics panel turns these logs into a ranked list of “top delay stations” and “repeatable causes,” so agencies can justify small operational fixes before expensive capital projects. This is not a rider-facing tracker; it’s a practical tool for day-to-day reliability where BRT often fails: inconsistent station operations and unmanaged dwell time.
