StoryQuestAR

StoryQuestAR is a mobile app that turns printed story cards (or on-screen prompts) into room-scale, interactive adventures for kids and parents. Point the camera at a card to spawn characters and puzzles in AR—find hidden objects, solve simple logic tasks, and act out short scenes together. Sessions are 10–20 minutes, designed for ages 5–9, with a “parent co-op” mode that keeps adults involved instead of using the app as a babysitter. Content is episodic: weekly story drops, seasonal events, and themed packs (space, pirates, animals). The app includes strong safety defaults: no open chat, no ads to kids, and offline-friendly play after downloading packs. It’s not a miracle product—AR can be finicky and kids’ attention is brutal—but when it works, it feels like a mini theme-park experience at home.
