StorySprout

StorySprout is a mobile + web app for kids (6–12) to create short illustrated stories and audio “mini-podcasts” safely. Kids build a story with simple prompts, stickers, and voice recording; parents approve what gets saved or shared with a private family circle. The AI component helps with age-appropriate story suggestions, gentle grammar fixes, and turning a child’s voice recording into clean, volume-leveled audio—without changing the child’s words. The app is intentionally not a public social network: no DMs, no follower counts, no algorithmic feed. Content lives in small, invite-only “albums” for grandparents, classrooms, or close friends. Monetization is straightforward: subscription for storage, premium art packs, and classroom licenses. This is realistic because parents pay for safe creation tools, not another chaotic content platform.
