StorySprout

StorySprout is a mobile + tablet app for ages 3–7 that turns a child’s simple drawing into a short, parent-approved storybook. Kids draw on a big, low-friction canvas (stickers, stamps, chunky brushes). The app asks one gentle question at a time (“Who is this?” “What happens next?”) using voice prompts, then generates a 6–10 page story with large text, simple vocabulary, and optional narration in the parent’s voice. Parents control themes, length, and “no-go” content (violence, scary, brand characters). Finished books can be replayed as a bedtime mode, shared privately with family, or printed via an export PDF. This is not a miracle creativity machine; it’s a structured scaffold that helps kids finish something and feel proud, while giving parents a repeatable activity that doesn’t require them to be an art teacher.
