StorySwitch is a mobile + web e-book platform that lets parents and teachers instantly toggle the same children’s story across multiple reading levels (e.g., Level 1 emergent to Level 5 fluent) without changing the plot, characters, or page art. Kids who struggle don’t get “baby books,” and advanced readers don’t get bored—they all stay in the same story world. The app includes a small, curated library of licensed titles plus a tool for publishers/indie authors to upload manuscripts and generate leveled variants with human-in-the-loop review. It also supports read-aloud with word highlighting, dyslexia-friendly fonts, and comprehension checks that adapt to the chosen level. Realistically, the hard part is content licensing and trust: parents and schools won’t pay for a huge empty catalog. The MVP should focus on 20–40 excellent titles and prove learning outcomes and retention.
