StoryWeave Archive

StoryWeave Archive is a mobile + web AI-assisted app that helps endangered-language communities capture elders’ stories and convert them into usable learning materials. Users record audio/video, then the app produces time-aligned transcripts, translations, and a lightweight dictionary of recurring words and phrases. The product is designed for low-connectivity regions: recordings work offline, and processing can queue until Wi‑Fi is available (or run in a community center with better internet). The app outputs printable storybooks, simple flashcards, and shareable clips for community classes. It also includes consent controls (who can view, download, or remix) and cultural sensitivity settings (restricted stories, seasonal access). This is not a magic “save the language” button—quality depends on speakers’ participation and review—but it can drastically reduce the labor of turning raw recordings into teachable content.
