StrapSpec

StrapSpec is a mobile + web app that helps watch owners and strap makers avoid the most common (and expensive) mistake: ordering the wrong strap size or hardware. Users capture a few guided photos of their watch lugs and wrist, then the app outputs a clear spec sheet: lug width, strap length recommendation, buckle width, spring bar type, and fit notes (e.g., curved ends needed, thick case clearance). It also stores each watch’s strap profile so future purchases are one-tap. Strap makers can generate shareable spec links for customers, reducing back-and-forth and returns. This is not a “try-on” gimmick; it’s measurement + compatibility, with a simple export that works for Etsy sellers, boutique strap brands, and collectors. Monetization: freemium for consumers, paid “Maker” tier for spec links, order forms, and return-reduction analytics.
