StreakSwitch

StreakSwitch is a mobile app that turns “don’t do X” goals into concrete replacement actions, then nudges you at the exact moments you usually slip. Instead of generic reminders, it uses quick check-ins and lightweight context (time of day, location, and self-reported trigger) to predict risky windows and propose a 30–90 second alternative: drink water, 10 squats, 2-minute walk, text a friend, or start a focus timer. The gamification is intentionally small: you earn “switch points” only when you replace the behavior, not when you merely resist. Users build a personal trigger-to-replacement library and see which swaps actually work over weeks. It’s realistic: it won’t cure addiction, and it won’t magically change your life, but it can measurably reduce common impulse behaviors like doomscrolling, snacking, or procrastination when users are already motivated to improve.
