StreamFence

StreamFence is a mobile + desktop parental controls app that focuses on the hardest problem parents face today: short-form and streaming content that looks “kid-friendly” but isn’t. Instead of only blocking apps or setting time limits, it filters content at the video/channel level using a mix of rule-based controls and AI classification. Parents choose age bands and sensitivity settings (violence, sexual content, bullying, self-harm, profanity, scams/creepy DMs), and StreamFence enforces them across supported platforms via device-level DNS/VPN filtering plus optional browser extension controls. It also provides a simple “Why was this blocked?” explanation and a one-tap approve flow to reduce frustration. Weekly summaries show what was attempted, what was blocked, and emerging topics your child is searching for—without turning parents into full-time moderators.
