StreamPulse QA

StreamPulse QA is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that continuously monitors the real viewer experience of live and VOD streams across devices, ISPs, and geographies. Instead of only checking if a stream is “up,” it measures startup time, rebuffer rate, bitrate shifts, audio/video sync drift, DRM/license failures, and ad-stitching errors using synthetic playback plus optional real-user telemetry. It alerts teams with clear, actionable incident summaries (what broke, where, and likely why) and provides a timeline view that correlates CDN logs, player errors, and encoder changes. The MVP focuses on a small set of high-signal metrics, fast setup, and integrations with Slack/PagerDuty. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional monitoring pipelines, plus AI to cluster incidents, dedupe noisy alerts, and generate human-readable root-cause hypotheses. It’s not glamorous, but it saves money and churn.
