StreamSort

StreamSort is a web app + lightweight agent that detects, explains, and mitigates out-of-order events in real-time pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub). It ingests a sample of event streams plus metadata (timestamps, partition keys, producer IDs) and builds an “ordering health” view: where reordering happens, how often, and what it costs (wrong balances, duplicate notifications, broken SLAs). It then recommends concrete fixes: partition-key changes, producer clock sync checks, idempotency keys, watermark/window tuning, and consumer-side reordering buffers. The product is brutally pragmatic: it won’t magically “guarantee ordering” across distributed systems, but it will show you exactly which services and topics cause the pain and provide safe, testable mitigations. It also generates reproducible test cases from captured traces so teams can validate fixes in staging and prevent regressions.
