StreamTriage
StreamTriage is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that continuously tests your streaming video across real devices, ISPs, and regions, then tells you exactly where playback breaks and why. Instead of generic “QoE scores,” it runs scheduled synthetic sessions that mimic real users: start-up time, DRM license fetch, ad insertion, CDN edge selection, bitrate ladder behavior, and mid-roll transitions. When a test fails, it captures a short HAR-like network trace, player logs, and a reproducible “failure recipe” you can hand to engineering. It also correlates incidents with CDN/provider status and your recent config changes (manifests, encodes, ad tags, DRM settings). This is not glamorous, but it’s the kind of tool teams pay for when churn spikes and support tickets explode. Expect a focused product: fewer dashboards, more actionable root-cause evidence.
